Privacy Notice
This Privacy Notice explains how Manjam Capital collects, uses, and protects personal data in connection with this website, and the rights available to you. Manjam Capital is committed to processing personal data in line with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and other applicable data protection laws.
Who is responsible for your data
The data controller for personal data processed through this website is Manjam Capital SA, Geneva, Switzerland. You can contact us regarding data protection at [email protected].
What we collect
We collect personal data that you provide directly when you submit an enquiry or access request through this website, such as your name, email address, and any information you include in your message, together with limited technical data necessary for the website to function. Where we indicate that certain information is required, we may be unable to respond to your enquiry or process your access request if it is not provided.
How we use it
We use personal data to respond to your enquiry, to assess eligibility where you request access as a qualified investor, to maintain records of investor communications and status verification, and to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations. We process personal data on one or more of the following bases, as applicable: your consent; our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and developing our business and communicating with prospective and existing investors; the performance of, or steps taken at your request prior to entering into, an agreement; and compliance with our legal and regulatory obligations.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. It uses browser session storage only to remember your access acknowledgment for the duration of your session; this is cleared when you close the browser and is not used to track you. Website usage is measured using Matomo analytics, self-hosted by Manjam Capital in a cookieless configuration that does not collect personally identifying information. Fonts and certain images are loaded from third-party providers, which may receive your IP address as a technical necessity of delivering those resources.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We may share personal data with service providers acting on our behalf under appropriate contractual safeguards, and with regulators, auditors, or authorities where required by law.
International transfers
Where personal data is transferred outside Switzerland, including to countries that may not provide an equivalent level of data protection, we apply appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable data protection law, which may include standard contractual clauses, adequacy decisions, or other lawful transfer mechanisms, and we take reasonable steps to ensure that your personal data remains protected to the standard required under the FADP.
Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or alteration, including access controls and encryption of data in transit. No method of transmission over the internet, including email, is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of data transmitted to us; any transmission is at your own risk.
Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, and as required to comply with our legal, regulatory, accounting, and record-keeping obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority. In Switzerland, the competent authority is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC). To exercise these rights, contact [email protected].
